Gorious Winter’s Day on the Gold Coast. First up today, chatting with locals at The Helensvale Farmers Market. The Markets are a big money-raiser for the high school and a primary source of income for many sellers. Every dollar spent locally is returned many times.

My other little helper joined me today. It turned out to be another busy Sunday with Letterboxing, talking to residents and finishing the day with a roadside

Had a few spare hours for some letterbox dropping and a then busy afternoon community roadside. Lots of different topics were discussed, crime, body corporate, insurance costs, vegetation rules, lack of development for housing etc

The is open on Saturdays from 8 am to noon at The Meeting Place: Oxenford/Coomera Community Youth Centre. All funds raised by the cafe go directly to the Northern Gold Coast Community Care Program, helping to distribute food boxes and provide free counselling support to those in need. Your coffee and cake make a difference!

Gold Coast Gladiators Cricket Cup started today and runs through the weekend. Our Indian Community do love their Cricket.
