Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade

Last night Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade hosted the annual general meeting. Congratulations to all the new offices and executive. Brendon (Red) Gold has been reappointed as first officer of the Brigade. Special mention to Councillor Peter Young for his work as chairperson of the Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade over the last 12 months. Cr Young didn’t re-contest his position due to other work commitments

Yellow Ribbon Day 2022

Today is yellow ribbon day, a day to thank our rural fire brigade volunteers. Queensland has over 28,000 RFS volunteers and over the past year they have responded to 3600 incidents and 2300 hazard reduction burns.
