Today the Shadow Minister for Main Roads Andrew Powell surveyed the damage to the riverbank along the Coomera River. I have also invited the Minister for Nature Resources to personally view the extensive erosion of the Coomera Riverbank and to implement ways to limit future erosion.

This Friday the 7th of April is the 2017 North GC Business Expo. There will be over 100 trade exhibitors, guest speakers, 8 Workshops with hands on practical advice on running a business, food trucks, live entertainment, prizes, and more.

CCWRFB & PCYC Emergency Services Cadets are running a donation centre from 9am on Saturday 8th April until 4pm at the Fire Station at 17 Vievers Rd, Wolffdene.

Huge thanks to all the community groups for coming out today to help those in need and donating their time.

This morning, I contacted the Minister for State Development and Natural Resources to highlight the desperate need to re-enforce the river bank from the Oxenford Pony Club to the John Muntz Bridge. In the recent flood event we lost a huge amount of land to the Coomera River including the connection road next to the John Muntz Bridge.
