We sometimes forget the dangerous situations our Police regularly deal with and it is with great sadness when we see on the television another officer going about their job will not be coming home to see their family. Police Remembrance day is a special time to remember all those who have paid the ultimate price serving the thin blue line. We are proud of your service to our community.

Busy day hitting the streets (thank you to the many locals who stopped for a chat), time for my regular Community Roadside, today I’m at Studio Village.

Speech in parliament last week thanking residents for their kind donations to those affected by the recent fires and the mammoth efforts by our local rural fire brigades. I also tabled the names of all our rural fire brigade volunteers who participated so their names are forever remembered in Hansard.

Oxenford Men's Shed Inc at the Queensland Parliament. The boys had a great time walking the corridors of the old building. They were amazed at all the history and the stories the old building witnessed.
