Coomera Valley Rural Fire Brigade is hosting a new members information evening, Wednesday 3rd March 6:30pm, Gawler Place Upper Coomera. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in joining our local rural fire brigade or finding out additional information about the service. Our local brigade at Upper Coomera is a dedicated group of volunteer who enjoy working as a team and making a real difference for our community. Plus this is a great way to learn new skills and make new friends.

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the need to implement harsher punishments for motorists who do not secure their vehicle loads in an appropriate manner.

Wet day hitting the pavement updating residents on the latest correspondence from the Minister for Main Roads about Charlies Crossing intersection. Main roads will be implementing a turn right lane into Charlies Crossing and a solution to the car parking situation. Unfortunately, there is no mention of any safety upgrade for motorists turning right out of Charlies Crossing. I've emailed main roads seeking a meeting to keep pushing this issue.

Nominations are now open for the 2021 YMCA Queensland Youth Parliament! If you are aged 15-25 and would like to share your views with other like-minded young people, nominate to become a Youth Member and represent your electorate.
