Last week in parliament I spoke about the wonderful work our local Police are doing, but we need tougher legislation (sentencing) inline with community expectations.

Just finished up at the Coomera Colts Soccer Club now it's time to catch up with the Pacific Pines AFL members and supporters before I do a couple of Community Roadside this afternoon

After a busy day in the electorate its is time for a community roadside at John Muntz Bridge.

Today, the Coomera and Helensvale Scout Groups will carry plaques of the fallen from the local community who’s names are immortalised on the Upper Coomera Cenotaph. This project took a while to put together and a big thank you goes to President Ken Golden from the North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc. and Rotary Club of Coomera Valley for there help in putting this information together. This is a working project with more plaques to come in the future. Lest we forget.

Very proud moment for the Coomera and Helensvale Scout members carrying their World War 1 plaques with pride at today’s services at Upper Coomera. The sacrifice of our veterans and serving defence force personnel should never be forgotten. Huge thank you to Northern Gold Coast RSL and Coomera Valley Rotary for their efforts at today’s services.
