Busy night for our rural volunteers checking the equipment on vehicles, checking fire weather warning signs

Time for my regular Community Roadside, today I’m at Studio Village. Plus thank you to the many residents who stopped for a chat whilst I was hitting the pavement today between meeting with schools.

Spending the afternoon out catching up with resident in the electorate and delivering information at the same time. I think todays roadside will be at Studio Village

Over 50 years of service as a teacher and 17 of those years were spent at Oxenford State School! Zan Bond has many stories to tell about her time in education. She has decided to put her feet up and enjoy her retirement but I think she will miss the students at Oxenford. She'll be back!

First up, school council meeting ( always interesting discussions ) followed by a meeting with the Helensvale Senior Citizens to discuss their freshly drawn plans for a new building. Nicely done by BXL Design. Add in a few hours of hitting the street meeting residents, plus a meeting with Stefan from Crosslife. Reported a faulty school zone sign as requested by a resident.
