This afternoons final game at the Coomera Cubs home ground, Diamond Backs vs the Dolphins. Diamond Backs are proving to be a tough team to beat. Special mention to Nick Day and his team of volunteers for hosting this event.

Our local legends are heading to the fire grounds in NSW. We also have local rural fire volunteers in the Bundaberg region. Please be safe and remember there are a lot of people thinking of you back home.

NYE celebrations at Coomera with the Coomera State School, Wasp Creek Rural Fire Brigade and Cr Donna Gates. Entertainment on stage from 7pm. Fireworks at 9pm.

It has been a successful working bee at the Coomera Cubs Baseball club this morning with a good group of volunteers making lite work of all the jobs that needed to be done to get the fields ready for next weekend’s 3 day baseball marathon.
