Today’s wet weather couldn’t dampen the ANZAC spirit, as thousands of locals attended ceremonies at Helensvale, Maudsland and Upper Coomera. Thank you, North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc. for your tireless efforts in helping local s veterans and hosting both Helensvale Dawn Service and Upper Coomera Late Morning Service.

Sunday Night wrap-up (Parliament Last week). Last week in parliament, we had a big win on changing laws around sunset clauses and buying land off the plan. Hopefully, the legislation will be tabled at the next parliamentary sitting. We (myself, affected families, and local reporter Keith Woods) have been pushing for changes to legislation to make it fair for buyers and developers.

ANZAC Day badges are selling fast at Oxenford Woolworths. Hats are sold out, ANZAC Bears sold out. Our veterans will be @ Woolworths Oxenford till about 4 pm today. Other ANZAC Day badge selling sites this weekend are; Pacific Pines - outside Woolworths Helensvale Plaza Oxenford Bunnings Coomera Westfield - Kmart end Arundel Plaza Pimpama shopping centre Kipparing- peninsula centre

Community Roadside Saturday at Oxenford near the home of the best Chicken Pie on the Gold Coast, SPAR Express Oxenford Michigan Drive Oxenford.

Super busy morning for the RSL fellas at Oxenford Bunnings, (Oxenford Bunnings, 8th Wonder of the Modern World.) A sausage on bread will keep them going for a couple more hours.
