Diwali Festival at Dreamworld tonight! The festival of light over darkness. Diwali is one of the biggest festivals in India. Thank you, Manish and the team from the Indian Community Of Gold Coast, for once again hosting this huge event.

Our North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc. will sell Remembrance Day memorabilia at Oxenford Woolworths next week. On Remembrance Day, the 11th bout on the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent on the western front to mark the end of World War 1. With a population of fewer than five million, 416,809 Australian men enlisted, of which over 60,000 were killed and 156,000 wounded, gassed, or taken prisoner.

Samaritan's Purse helped residents clean up their properties after the Christmas Day Storm. They spent weeks in the field, chainsawing, removing debris, and checking residents' welfare. They are a fantastic group of volunteers. They are back on the Northern Gold Coast, catching up on a few jobs before moving on to the next weather event.
