The Northern Gold Coast once again hosted a number ANZAC Day ceremonies. Special thanks to North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc, Rotary Club of Coomera Valley and our local schools for their involvement in today’s ceremonies. This year we celebrated 100 years anniversary of the unveiling of the Upper Coomera Cenotaph. (Official unveiling date 18th of May 1918.)

Well done Helensvale State High School for a wonderful ANZAC Day service and our local digger Matthew Ardley for your insightful speech. The spirit of service lives on through the next generation.

Question On Notice requesting an update on the CCTV cameras that were promised to schools as per last years estimates hearing.

The new school fence at Coomera State School is coming together and it’s looking good. Much better than the old decrepit fence that has been at the school for decades.
