Well done Coomera State School! They have been listing to their teachers about the 3 layers of Government in Australia Today the students visited Parliament House and I must say, the students answered almost every question correctly during the pop quiz by the Parliament’s staff.

As promised, a Ziegler & Brown portable grill for the Gaven State School Trivia night next month. They make an awesome camping BBQ.

During the last week of term 2, crossing guards at Helensvale State School requested a trip hazard be removed for students using the northern school crossing on Discovery Drive. Thank you to William Owen-Jones Division 2, Gold Coast Office for quickly fixing this issue.

Jun 13, 2018 @ 10:11am Detectives have charged a woman in relation to alleged threats made towards a school at Upper Coomera yesterday.

Busy day out in the electorate chasing up issues, visiting groups and reading a book (budgie goes to sea) to the well behaved students at Good Start Early Learning Centre. The students made up a book with lots of pictures as a thank you.
