Once again I have written to the Minister about safety concerns regarding primary school students crossing Highland Way to access the Highland Reserve State School's rear gate. I totally agree with many residents who have expressed fears an accident involving a child is only a matter of time. We need a crossing guard to be allocated at Highland Way to ensure students cross the road safely.

Busy night, first stop was Windaroo Valley State High School Enable Dux Dinner (Best wishes to all school Dux winners! I hope you enjoyed your dinner), then I raced off to Gaven State School P&C meeting to hear the concerns of parents about lack of classroom space. Last stop was Oxenford & Coomera Community Youth Centre for our regular Oxenford Neighbourhood watch meeting. Now it's home time for Vegemite on toast for dinner

The students of Gaven State School have officially declared Mr Phillip Carlton the best Principal in the world at today's leadership ceremony! The other Principals in attendance were amazed and some could say jealous at Mr popular! Congratulations to all the new school leaders at Gaven, I wish you a fantastic year.

Mt Warren Park residents drive past The Boulevard Early Learning Centre Mt Warren Park unaware of the fantastic facilities at the centre. They would have one of the biggest play areas I have seen in a centre. Thank you to Ms Catherine for taking the time to show me their great facilities at the centre.

It's been an interesting day out in the electorate. Exciting times for UCSC with some world class training facilities now up and running. More about that in the near future. Now it's time for a Community Roadside at John Muntz Bridge Upper Coomera / Oxenford.
