Sign the petition here www.elizabethline.com.au Queenslanders across our state have loved and admired Queen Elizabeth II and it is only fitting we honour her service. Today we launch a petition to rename Cross River Rail, Queensland’s first underground rail line, to the Elizabeth Line.

Today is yellow ribbon day, a day to thank our rural fire brigade volunteers. Queensland has over 28,000 RFS volunteers and over the past year they have responded to 3600 incidents and 2300 hazard reduction burns. We have two of the best brigades, Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade and Coomera Valley Rural Fire Brigade. I admit I’m biased

Fascinating presentation at last night’s Rotary Club of Coomera Valley meeting by Justine Dillon from Ngarang-Wal Gold Coast Aboriginal Association Incorporated. Justine spoke about the history of our region and the many projects underway at their Guanaba site.

Another successful year for Pacific Pines Australian Football Club. Behind every successful player is a dedicated volunteer who helps organise and train the teams. Mums and dads who give up their time to ensure success. This years Pac Power Volunteer of the Year goes to Danielle Giardina.
