The innovative team at Studio Village Community have started a new inter-generation program to support senior members to connect with community and help children foster skills such as patience, concentration, empathy, respect and acceptance. Oxenford & Coomera Community Youth Centre is a hive activity this afternoon with 12 Baskets Outreach feeding those in need. Normally the 3rd Saturday of the month at the community centre. Heaps and heaps of food!!

Jubilee Pac Pines colour run. It is a bit cool and colourful. I think the parents and staff had as much fun as the students.

Last night Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade hosted the annual general meeting. Congratulations to all the new offices and executive. Brendon (Red) Gold has been reappointed as first officer of the Brigade. Special mention to Councillor Peter Young for his work as chairperson of the Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade over the last 12 months. Cr Young didn’t re-contest his position due to other work commitments
