Big day for the scouts at Nerang! It’s been an exhausting day for both the scouts and their leaders. Parents of the scouts will have a peaceful night as I reckon most of the scout will be fast asleep by the time they get home.

Interesting presentation by Marie Jackson at tonight’s Rotary meeting. Marie has returned from visiting Saint Jude School in Tanzania. Gemma Sisia started the school almost two decades ago. She had a vision to help poor children in Tanzania get a education. After every school day, the child would return home and teach his or her bothers and sisters what they had learnt that day.

The weather wasn’t the best but the Highland Reserve State School fete was a huge success! So successful our P&C President lost her voice, plus the rural fire brigade had to jump start the Police Van. Well done Sarah and her team of amazing volunteers and big shout to the Lions Club Of Upper Coomera for volunteering on the BBQ!

The rain stayed away long enough for the annual CrossLife Highland Reserve Easter Egg hunt! As you can see, we had a great crowd of hyped up children going crazy for the elusive chocolate egg! Big thank you to Stefan and team from CrossLife Upper Coomera for organising this event.
