Next up it’s Upper Coomera Lions Club meeting! Tonight’s guest speaker is Rise Up. Rise Up is an organisation that helps domestic violence victims, both female and male.

The weather wasn’t the best but the Highland Reserve State School fete was a huge success! So successful our P&C President lost her voice, plus the rural fire brigade had to jump start the Police Van. Well done Sarah and her team of amazing volunteers and big shout to the Lions Club Of Upper Coomera for volunteering on the BBQ!

Interesting night, the Lions Club donate $300 to the school, the school donates a large jar of chocolate to the Lions. Not a bad deal, especially if you like chocolate.

The forecast predicted rain but it has turned out to be a sunny morning for the Lions Club of Helensvale car boot. Plus the crowds weren’t bad, we managed to sell all our food.
