The Coomera Valley Rural Fire Brigade legends welcome 2 new members tonight! They are a great group of volunteers who make a real difference to our area. A bit of a highlight, as it is International Women's day, the ladies at the brigade are as good, if not better than the blokes. Good work Annalisa, Vicky and Fiona, show those guys how it is done!

A message from our school zone crossing guards - don't use your mobile phone whilst driving and don't make rude hand signals to the crossing guards when they ask you to stop. They are doing their best to protect everyone's children.

Congratulations to Madison for winning the 2017 Northern Gold Coast Lions Youth of the year. It was a tough competition with many talented students competing for the top prize.

Our local legend Boyd Evan has started a meat raffle at the IGA Ormeau Lions Club breakfast BBQ. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. All funds made go back to the community.
