Huge thanks to all the community groups for coming out today to help those in need and donating their time.

Today we witnessed the best part of what it means to be human. Giving up your time and donating equipment to help those in need. No words can ever describe the gratitude in the eyes of residents who have lost everything. Thank you.

The Coomera Cubs Baseball Club Awards Night has filled the community halls at the Upper Coomera Community Centre tonight. It just shows you how big this club has become and it just keeps growing.!

At 2am this morning we successfully passed new laws to protect DV victims and the broader community.

Queensland lost a top bloke in the passing of David Look. A true gentleman and passionate community volunteer who would do all he could to help others and build a better community. It was only a couple weeks ago when I last spoke to David, and as always he was straight to the point and told me what he really "thought". I must add, it was truly heart warming to see so many attend his funeral, the church was over flowing with well wishes and fond memories.
