National Road Freighters Association held their annual meeting up in Toowoomba today. NRFA is made up mixed group of owner operator truck drivers spread across Australia. The meeting was well attending by LNP members, including the Shadow Minister for Transport Steve Minnikin MP, Jon Krause MP, Pat Weir MP and Bert van Manen MP

Cracker of a day, first up was the announcement that the LNP will build the inter regional transport corridor to give motorist an alternative to the M1 Motorway. Next up was my usual task, help with the Lions BBQ clean up, than it was time to help the Northern Gold Coast RSL legends at Bunnings. Now it’s time for my business as usual Community Roadside.

As part of an ongoing maintenance program, rail grinding is scheduled to be carried out on sections of the network between Wednesday 13 September and Wednesday 4 October and is expected to be in your local area between 10pm and 5am on the dates indicated below.
