Grand opening of H Block Gold Coast University Hospital. Phased services commence from late September 2025. 👉 The new H block includes three inpatient wards connected via a linkway to C Block 👉 70 additional beds to support specialised inpatient services for older adults. 👉 Specialised for patients with cognitive impairment and patients with complex needs.

Grand opening of Woolworths Upper Coomera with Cr Donna Gates - Gold Coast and Upper Coomera State College’s amazing School Choir. The new Centre includes 10 retail outlets, including a chemist and a great coffee shop. The new Woolies will employ up to 140 people and has an 8-bay Direct to Boot Drive-thru.
