Tonight is Upper Coomera State College Secondary’s awards celebration. Very proud moment for all the students receiving awards. All that hard work has paid off. Special mention to tonight’s student performances, they were fantastic. Up there with the very best! Especially UCSC opera singer. Wow.

Helensvale State School are currently coming 4th in an Australia wide competition to win a $6000 Community Garden initiated by Terracycle. They need to place 3rd in order to win this prize and online votes are worth 1 point. You can vote everyday right up until the 30th September 2019 for this local school. Wow! Big wow! Huge wow! Oxenford State School P&C Association & Oxenford State School delivered a mountain of water for Water for the West. Gotta love the messages on the bottles! Thank you thank you thank you Team Oxenford! Kirby, Kelly and Amanda!!!!!! We have over 4 tonne of water so far!

Oxenford State School. About 2 acres will be burnt this afternoon at the far edges of the school. Burn is progressing well.

When the call was put out for a new BBQ for the school I was happy to be able to help out with the donation or a new BBQ. I look forward to helping out as the new BBQ is used for many school fundraisers in the future.
