Time for Oxenford State School Colour run. The students and teachers did enjoy colouring everyone including Principal Mister Brady. What a good sport he is. I must say, that powder doesn’t taste the best.

Congratulations to the many award winners at Tonight’s UCSC end of year awards ceremony. The preps were especially excited with their trophies. Their beaming smiles drew special applause from the all adoring parents.

t was good to catch up with our hard-working Chappie Ben at my community roadside. Ben has been the Chaplain at UCSC for many years. He is much loved by the students and has become a key cornerstone of the school community. Plus he has some worthy ideas to help students in need. Keep up the great work Ben.

Top effort Oxenford State School P&C Association! Your night market was a great success. Special mention to Suzanne, my daughter is fascinated by the goo balls you sold me. I did notice we had some ”other school p&c members” attend tonight's event to borrow some ideas for their night markets.

Over 50 years of service as a teacher and 17 of those years were spent at Oxenford State School! Zan Bond has many stories to tell about her time in education. She has decided to put her feet up and enjoy her retirement but I think she will miss the students at Oxenford. She'll be back!
