Afternoon full of Community Roadsides and a mad dash to Lions Youth of the Year at Burleigh Waters. The contestants gave interesting answers to the judges questions, plus their speeches were well rehearsed and researched.

Big night for the Coomera Colts and their truly international senior soccer with members from USA, Canada, Japan, France and more. To spice things up a bit, members had to sing their nation anthems, which some members struggled. It was the Japanese player who won the crowd with his rendition.

Dropped off a raffle prize for the Gaven State School Night Markets held on Friday the 29th of March. The ladies from JB HIFI (where I purchased the iPad) seemed very keen to also come along and enter the raffle to win the 128gb 6th generation iPad.

I have requested a urgent meeting with Transport Main Roads about the new service station located on Tamborine-Oxenford Road, Upper Coomera. Specifically, the proposed right turn from Tamborine-Oxenford Road into the service station. Residents believe this proposal may cause further traffic congestion and visibility concerns. They believe the station's proposed entrance will potentially impact the area where we all queue to turn into Reserve Road. I will keep you updated

Busy night for the Lions Club of Helensvale discussing the youth of the year competition that is on this Saturday! Multiple students from across the Gold Coast will go head to head. If they are successful, they represent their region and the State. If their success continues and win the Australian competition, they go international.
