First up today was the opening of the new Music Centre of Excellence at Saint Stephens College. At a $6 million dollar price tag, it is one of the best facilities on the Gold Coast. It has a auditorium, music classrooms and professional sound recording studios.

After the school I hit the pavement again meeting locals for a few hours, now it’s time for my regular community roadside.

Transport Main Roads has uploaded the new designs for M1 Motorway Exit 57. I was initially excited to finally see the new design (especially when the department gave assurances late last year they would listen to the locals concerns) but my excitement didn’t last long.

Team Crime Stoppers Northern Gold Coast are still in business, we have gone through a lot of changes recently but our GC team is keen to keep up the great work locally.

It is turning out to be a very harmonious day at Coomera State School with lots of activities for the students. Big shout out to the Gold Coast Multi Culture Group for their display this morning that had the students and teachers hyped!
