To finish a week in Parliament, the Community Safety and Legal Affairs committee had an all-day hearing into the Queensland Community Safety Bill at Parliament. The wide-ranging legislation covers youth crime, social media, and firearms.

Queenslanders want these laws. Today our LNP team brought them to Parliament. We’ve tabled amendments to remove detention as a last resort and reopen the Children's Court. It's up to Labor to support them.

Education, Employment and Training Committee Estimates Hearing today from 9:00 am to 6:45 pm at the Queensland Parliament.

This afternoon's debate topics by youth parliamentarians at the Cairns Regional Parliament are internet curfew to allow students to help around the house (clean their bedroom) and play sports. Plus, afternoon homework classes. 🤔 Most parents would love the idea of their children cleaning their bedroom.
