This week in Parliament Parliament, I spoke in the adjournment debate to thank our community and volunteers for their efforts during the recent storm event.

Queenslanders want these laws. Today our LNP team brought them to Parliament. We’ve tabled amendments to remove detention as a last resort and reopen the Children's Court. It's up to Labor to support them.

The Oxenford Men's Shed Is looking for more members to join the shed. It's a great place to catch up for a cuppa and a chat or do a bit of woodworking. They also have a great garden for all those green thumbs out there. Sheds open between 8 and 11.30am Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.

Our local nurseries are slowly getting back to normal. Many were severely damaged and lost hundreds of thousands in stock and infrastructure during the storm and flood events.
