Visited Year 6 students at Oxenford State School to discuss the history of the Westminster system of parliaments and how the Queensland Parliament works. Plus we also talked about the history of the grand old building (Queensland Parliament) The students had lots and lots of questions about pretty much every topic.

Busy day in the electorate ( I should say a busy week). A big thank-you to all the blue volunteers this morning at our morning roadside, the response was amazing.

Recently in Queensland Parliament I spoke about the need for a long-term solution for M1 Motorway Exit 57 Oxenford.

Today is Vietnam Veterans’ Day and the anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan, a day when Australians are encouraged to reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who served during the Vietnam War. Minister for Veterans’ Affairs Darren Chester paid his respects to all those who served in the Vietnam War, one of the longest military engagements of the 20th Century. Lest We Forget

The Coomera Cubs Baseball Club has come along way in the last ten years, they started out with a couple of bus shelters. Nick Day and his team have done a great job developing the club of the years.
