Congratulations to the new Queensland Country Women’s Association division President Jo Hubner (right). Previously Jo was the Coomera QCWA branch President for multiple years. Linda Miles is the current Coomera branch QCWA President (left) It was interesting listening to the speakers today about the need to keep in touch members and encourage others to volunteer for mental well-being.

The New Bradfield Scheme is a big, bold, visionary plan. It will hold as much water as 28 Sydney Harbours and allow an area larger than Tasmania to be irrigated in outback Queensland.

Delivery day for *heaps* of face masks for multiple local retirement villages. The Helensvale Red Cross have been working tirelessly to produce facemasks for the most vulnerable in our community. Huge thank you to Gerry and your team of dedicated volunteers.

Visited Year 6 students at Oxenford State School to discuss the history of the Westminster system of parliaments and how the Queensland Parliament works. Plus we also talked about the history of the grand old building (Queensland Parliament) The students had lots and lots of questions about pretty much every topic.

Busy day in the electorate ( I should say a busy week). A big thank-you to all the blue volunteers this morning at our morning roadside, the response was amazing.
