Congratulations to all the UCSC students who participated in the reading challenge! I must say a few of the students didn’t expect to receive an award, their faces buzzed with joy. Well done all!

Whilst it is exciting for many students at Coomera Anglican College receiving awards, this is the final year for Mister K (Graeme Kirkpatrick) as head of Primary School. Mister K, you will be greatly missed! You are a shining example of everything good in education and you are a true gentleman. Thank you for your many years of service.

Biggest tree plant (10,000) is happening at Oxenford till 1pm. So far we have planted over 3,000! Well done all involved and CR William Owen-Jones Division 2, Gold Coast for funding this event. Plus we had Ormeau Scout Group, Helensvale Scout Group, Lions Club Upper Coomera and many others all working hard.

The official unveiling of Upper Coomera State College new mascot, Da Croc! Da Croc started the excitement of the evening but the real show was the many students receiving their sports awards and it was a top effort by all!

It has been a huge year for the Coomera Soccer Club with 4 premiership teams and the women’s team joining the Brisbane Premier league! Not a bad effort!
