It has been 100 years since the guns fell silent on the western front to mark the end of the Great War and today the Northern Gold Coast RSL Remembrance Day Service paid tribute to all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Lest We Forget.

Busy morning with the Australian Air Force Cadets selling Remembrance Day badges at Oxenford! These cadets are fantastic, we are running low on most items to sell. Don’t forget it’s 100 years since the guns fell silent on the western front. There will be a special service held at Helensvale Bowls club tomorrow morning.

Whilst it is exciting for many students at Coomera Anglican College receiving awards, this is the final year for Mister K (Graeme Kirkpatrick) as head of Primary School. Mister K, you will be greatly missed! You are a shining example of everything good in education and you are a true gentleman. Thank you for your many years of service.

Another rather warm day as I hit the pavement in Helensvale meeting locals. Plus add a few Community Roadsides over the last couple of days, now it time to head to Helensvale Lions.
