Community Roadsides at Norfolk Village and Reserve Road Upper Coomera are a little quiet this weekend. Well there is a lot happening like the start of school holidays for some schools and of course Christmas shopping.

After spending the morning with the Lion's members it's time for my first Community Roadside of the day at the skate park Norfolk Village. Always enjoy meeting with residents after a week in Parliament.

Ormeau Lions BBQ packed up for another week. To all those who have supported the Lions today at the Ormeau IGA, huge thank you, we raised over $400 and every cent will go to helping our farmers to make their Christmas a little better. Heavenly voices were on display at the annual Upper Coomera Community Carols performance. All members of the choir take great pride in what they do and it sure showed this year. The concerts just keep getting better and better and I encourage everyone to get along to next year’s show.

After a hot day walking the pavement in Ormeau and consuming multiple bottles of water and were the temperature reached about 34.5 degrees in Ormeau Ridge, it is now time for a bit of shade and a Community Roadside at Damian Leeding Park
