Fantastic to have Tim Mander in the electorate this morning visiting a couple of our local sporting facilities to discuss infrastructure needs. Whilst we only could visit two clubs today, I have been visiting other clubs over the last couple of weeks to start pushing for infrastructure.

President Steve and his team of dedicated volunteers give up much of their spare time to the sport they love to help the next generation of champions reach their dreams. Sometimes we forget the long hours they put in and the work they do to make sure every game runs smoothly. Well done Team Pacific Pines Junior AFL

Big shout out to Sri Lanka versus India cricket match at Riverstone Crossing today. These guys are truly passionate about their cricket and there is little wonder why the Indian is so hard to beat. hopefully, this tournament will be an annual event.

The Coomera Cubs Baseball Club has come along way in the last ten years, they started out with a couple of bus shelters. Nick Day and his team have done a great job developing the club of the years.

It has been a tough time for our local sporting and recreation clubs across Queensland. As requested by many of our local sporting clubs, I asked the Minister for Sport a question this morning in Parliament. " Will the Minister finally listen to the concerns of sport and recreation clubs across Queensland and immediately adopt the one person per four square meter rule to provide a commonsense approach that allows kids to return to community sport?"
