Community Roadside Saturday at Helensvale on Discovery Drive near the Senior Citizens Hall.

Busy day in the electorate, time for a Community Roadside at Pacific Pines.

For those who don’t travel down Maudsland Road often, roadworks at Guanaba Creek Road and Maudsland Road were completed ahead of schedule. The department has also re surfaced a section of the intersection at Maudsland Road and Beaudesert - Nerang Road. Future works will need to be done to realign the intersection (Maudsland Road / Beaudesert - Nerang Road) and make it safer for motorists.

Question On Notice requesting an update on the CCTV cameras that were promised to schools as per last years estimates hearing.

It was great to host 30 of the lovely Helensvale Senior Citizens at Parliament this week. They seemed to love the tour through the parliament. Plus as always, I had a great chat with our senior (wise) citizens.
