Mark Boothman MP Blog - 2026

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our local small businesses. The Helensvale Farmers Market was buzzing with activity this morning. After the market, it was time for some letterbox dropping, and now I’m at my Community Roadside on Reserve Road, Upper Coomera.

The Oxenford State School P&C Association Trivia Games Night is only a week away! Today I was pleased to donate an ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) handheld gaming console as one of the prizes for the evening.

Great to catch up with Brad Cooper from Volunteering Gold Coast today. Volunteers are the backbone of our community groups, and we greatly value and recognise the important role they play in strengthening our local community.

We’re continuing to make sport affordable for families with $200 Play On! Sports Vouchers. Every child aged 5-17 will be eligible for a voucher that can be used on summer and winter sports.

Congratulations to Dean and Wendy on being named the recipients of the 2026 Rotary Club of Ormeau-Pimpama President’s Award & Rotarian of the Year
