Fire Service Act

Last week, amendments to the Fire Service Act were passed in the Queensland Parliament. 👨‍🚒 The changes grant autonomy to our Rural Brigades, enabling them to use their initiative and respond more quickly in emergency events or disasters, even when communication channels are down. It is about giving the volunteers the flexibility they need to better serve the community.
