This morning, I joined our Indian Community Of Gold Coast with Sam O'Connor MP, John-Paul Langbroek, Rob Molhoek MP, Cr Brooke Patterson and Councillor Joe Wilkinson to celebrate 78 years of Indian independence. Thank you, ICGC 🙌 I spent most of the afternoon walking the pavement, updating residents about the future of Maudsland ANZAC Dawn Service. Thank you to the many residents up for a chat.

Coomera River Catchment Association Inc planted another 1000 plants at today’s Regatta Waters Tree Plant. Over the last seven years, the community has planted 60,000 trees! A big shout out to the crew from Ginger Indian Gourmet for helping and Naomi Fowler, Division 2, Gold Coast for always coming to the tree plants. Without all our volunteers helping, the tree plants would never happen. Thank-you all
