During my travels today I came across one of the Northern Gold Coast best gardeners / lawn maintenance specialists. Matt has his very own golfing green on his front lawn with a rough area for added affect. What guy wouldn't want a golfing green in his front yard?

Last week, I wrote to the Premier, regarding the urgent need to re-enforce the section of the riverbank from the old quarry site to the John Muntz Bridge Upper Coomera. Sections of riverbank have continued to collapsed into the Coomera River over the past few weeks, therefore highlighting the importance of prioritising riverbank re-enforcement works and ensuring these works are done before the next wet season. Onsite with some of the best Geomorphologists in the business to discuss ways to limit riverbank erosion from the Oxenford Pony Club to the John Muntz Bridge.

It was a great team effort by Coomera River Catchment Group today planting a few hundred trees along the Oxenford side of the Coomera River. The river bank has seen its fair share of erosion from the recent floods but most of the small trees previously planted have held up well.
