The Coomera Valley Rural Fire Brigade legends welcome 2 new members tonight! They are a great group of volunteers who make a real difference to our area. A bit of a highlight, as it is International Women's day, the ladies at the brigade are as good, if not better than the blokes. Good work Annalisa, Vicky and Fiona, show those guys how it is done!

Thank you to the Upper Coomera Neighbourhood Watch Group for the great work you do for the community. Also to the Officers from the Coomera Police Station for making yourselves available to discuss residents’ concerns, thank you.

Afternoon Community Roadside with Sid Cramp Member for Gaven at Cliffbird Park Maudsland road. With the Albert electorate renamed to Theodore and extensive boundary changes which will include the whole of Maudsland, Guanaba, part of Coomera, Helensvale & Clagiraba. It's interesting to see what is happening out here. It is good to see Sid has been working his electorate with some great responses from residents who have stopped to chat.

Lions IGA BBQ is over for another week, time for a Community Roadside at Oxenford. Outside the SPAR Express Oxenford on Michigan Drive. The home of the chicken pie.
