National Volunteer Week 16th - 22nd May. This is a week we say thank you to all our volunteers and we have a lot of them! Tonight I’m at a Lions meeting, last night I was at a Rotary meeting. Two of the service clubs in our area.
Our local schools rely on volunteers for fundraising and running programs. We have two amazing Rural Fire Brigades. Heaps of sporting clubs and social clubs. Volunteer Food kitchens helping those in need. Volunteer support groups. State Emergency Service volunteers. The list keeps going
All these organisations need volunteers to run. These wonderful people give up their spare time to help others and make our community a better place.
