Last night's Lions Club of Upper Coomera meeting we heard from Ben, a homeless man ( now lives in shared barracks accomodation) who has a passion to help others and has an amazing talent with his guitar.
Ben's world was turned up side down when he suffered nerve damage in his left arm, ending his music career. His arm has improved and to the enjoyment of all at the meeting, he played a little tune.
Upper Coomera Lions Club President Carey Dobson would have to be one of the most proactive volunteers in the Northern Gold Coast. He is always looking for new projects to help those in need.
