Boothman's Weekly Wrap 1/4/2016

This week spent mostly out in the electorate gathering support for two E-Petitions focusing on community safety. The two petitions are for an additional 50 Officers for the Coomera Police Station and a new Station for Ormeau.

The highlight of the week was inviting Madison and her family to Parliament House. Madison is the YMCA Youth Parliamentary Representative for the Electorate of Albert. We had a great morning discussing the history of our Parliament along with visiting all the important areas including the Chamber. I must say Madison did look very comfortable in the Speakers Chair.

Also thanks to everyone who has taken time chat with me whilst I have been letterbox dropping information on the Police Petitions. Yes, it has been a bit warm this week but I believe this is very important for our community as we continue to experience the current levels of growth and development.

I will be out and about this weekend doing roadsides again so don't forget to stop and say hello.

My new website www.markboothman.com and blog is having its final touches. Thank you to John and the team at Inology for helping us develop a more informative site. Still a little fine tuning to do but any feedback would be welcomed.

Last of all good luck to all our local junior and senior sporting teams. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Talk again soon.

Regards,

Mark
