Everyday this bridge is out of action, it is costing residents in fuel and time and hurting local businesses - especially those on Tamborine Mountain.

Letter to Minister's Office requesting an update for the John Muntz Bridge connection road repairs.

Today the Shadow Minister for Main Roads Andrew Powell surveyed the damage to the riverbank along the Coomera River. I have also invited the Minister for Nature Resources to personally view the extensive erosion of the Coomera Riverbank and to implement ways to limit future erosion.

As a matter of urgency I have again contacted the Minister for Main Roads seeking immediate allocation of all necessary resources to get Tamborine Oxenford Road traffic flowing again across the John Muntz Bridge. Today engineers have been onsite to start the process.

Beaudesert Beenleigh Road Upgrade near Shaw Pocket was completed just in time for Christmas. The upgrade allows vehicles to travel around the bend more safely at speed (80kmh). Thank you to the community for helping me achieve this goal. Now we need to fix the bend on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road 800 meters south of Dunns Road. It has claimed too many lives.
