Community Roadside Tuesday at Reserve Road Upper Coomera next to the Upper Coomera Community Centre.

After a couple of debates with the right government department, we now have new 40km/h School Zone signs for Highland Way at Upper Coomera. I will chase up the department to see if we can get a traffic control guards to ensure students safely cross the road.

Community Roadside Monday near the John Muntz Bridge Oxenford / Upper Coomera. Local residents will be happy to see the abandoned trailer has been removed but it appears more people are dumping rubbish in the parkland near the lake.

Last week, I again reminded the Minister for Main Roads of the importance of allocating funds to build an additional lane for vehicles traveling from Tamborine- Oxenford Road to have direct access to the M1 Motorway Northbound at Exit 57. Previous letters have detailed to the Minister, the volumes of vehicles that use this interchange daily and issues of traffic queuing caused by multiple traffic control signals so close together.

Pure dedication by the Coomera Hope Island Cricket Club out in the heat today with very little breeze. If there is any breeze it's a hot one!
