Anzac Day 2024.

Don "Poppy Don" Berry, one of our much-loved local veterans, was recently in hospital for major surgery. It was beautiful to see him well enough to attend today's Anzac Day Ceremony at Upper Coomera. He is one of the few remaining Long Tan veterans. He served as a Medic.

The North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc. Anzac appeal has started! These lovely volunteers will be at Oxenford Woolworth, Oxenford Bunnings and Helensvale Plaza till Wednesday the 24th. All funds raised support our local veterans & their families.

Today’s wet weather couldn’t dampen the ANZAC spirit, as thousands of locals attended ceremonies at Helensvale, Maudsland and Upper Coomera. Thank you, North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc. for your tireless efforts in helping local s veterans and hosting both Helensvale Dawn Service and Upper Coomera Late Morning Service.

Thank you Rotary Club of Coomera Valley for once against hosting the Upper Coomera 9:00 am ANZAC Day service. It was heartwarming to see some many students attend.
