Busy time at the Upper Coomera Neighbourhood Watch Night Markets! The crowds have been pouring in all afternoon. Well done to President Nicole and her team for hosting another successful markets.

The Yatala Neighbourhood Watch team are hosting their regular sausage sizzle BBQ at Sears Road Park. They are a friendly bunch and are always up for a chat. Come on down and grab a sausage on bread.

Today Sid Cramp MP, Member for Gaven and I met with Senior Sergeant Chris Smith who is the new head of Road Policing in the Northern Gold Coast. It was great to hear Chris's vision and outline to tackle hooning and dangerous driving on our roads. We also spoke about the need to connect our communities through social media at the new North Gold Coast Crime Watch FB page.

Busy night, first stop was Windaroo Valley State High School Enable Dux Dinner (Best wishes to all school Dux winners! I hope you enjoyed your dinner), then I raced off to Gaven State School P&C meeting to hear the concerns of parents about lack of classroom space. Last stop was Oxenford & Coomera Community Youth Centre for our regular Oxenford Neighbourhood watch meeting. Now it's home time for Vegemite on toast for dinner
