Saturday afternoon Community Roadside at the corner of Reserve Road and Abraham Road Upper Coomera next to the Community Centre.

After a busy day walking the pavement in Upper Coomera, meeting sporting associations and visiting schools, it's time for a community Roadside at Days Road Upper Coomera.

Last night in Parliament, I spoke about the need for a second arterial road between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, The Inter-Regional Transport Corridor. Every time there is an accident on the M1 Motorway, the road network goes into meltdown.

Demountable classrooms are typically used where student rates are uncertain. However, the Northern Gold Coast's continued population growth means we need permanent school buildings - not temporary fixes. It is time this failing Labor government commits to providing permanent solutions to the growing Northern Gold Coast area. Thanks to Paul Weston and the GC Bulletin for highlighting this issue.

I have to take my hat off to the members of the Ormeau Lions and its members. Every Saturday from 6.30am rain, hail or shine they are there raising money at the Ormeau IGA for those in need.
