Lions Club of Helensvale plus (Bonnie from Ormeau Lions) cooking for a group of very hungry volunteers who have been helping clean flood affected houses. Dulcie is passionate about helping the community, she volunteered her time at the Op Shop for 27 years! Dulcie had a wonderful birthday with her fellow volunteer friends and family.

Spirits remain high for Spectrum Nursery at Wongawallan. The recent floods event washed away many ten of thousands of dollars worth of stock but Wesley and his staff are trying to be positive. They have completed most of the clean up and ready for business again.

Sections of road pavement near the Coomera River bridge along birds around have suffered some damage. The causeway is still closed but water levels continue to recede.
