Coomera River Catchment AssociationFirst tree planting at Regatta Waters Wetlands for 2023. Today Coomera River Catchment Association Inc planted 800 plants. Tomorrow temperatures will be high but the soil’s moist levels are good. This gives the plants an excellent chance of surviving. |

Protecting The John Muntz BridgeA photo taken today upstream from the John Muntz Bridge. Last weeks rain event caused another 1 to 2 metres of riverbank to collapse as the river continues to move in north west direction through the Oxenford .Pony grounds. I recently asked a question to the Minister for Main Roads about protecting the John Muntz Bridge from future erosion. I referenced a recent article in the Gold Coast Bulletin |

Tree PlantingCoomera River Catchment Group tree planting was on again today. The group has been planting trees between Grey Willow and Regatta Waters Oxenford for many years and it is wonderful to see their hard work paying off. |
